Behind the scenes – Pangolins, unique birdlife and the diversity of the rainforest – Ghana November 2025

Ghana in West Africa has long been known as a fantastic birding destination, but today it is also perhaps the best place in the world to see and photograph pangolins. In its rainforests, two of Africa’s four pangolin species can be found. Together with an enormous diversity of birds, amphibians, insects, and landscapes, Ghana’s rainforests offer an outstanding photography destination.
