Behind the scenes – Autumn colors in Abisko National Park

It is a dream to experience some of the most majestic landscapes and glowing autumn colours our country has to offer. Abisko offers spectacular colours and unique landscape formations. Abisko National Park is one of Sweden’s oldest and most well-known national parks. The landscape here shifts from alpine tundra to species-rich mountain birch forests, across wetlands, crystal-clear waters, and turquoise streams and lakes. Around mid-September, the autumn colours are usually at their peak, as the palette shifts from green to red, orange, and yellow.
